Please vote Broombridge for your choice as "station of the year".
    Win a break

Happy to oblige, have just voted for "Broombridge", But in all honesty it is probably one of the worse stations (?) around. It is just a stop, not a station at all!!

That is why I voted for it. It's such a sad place it would be funny to see them presenting the award there. Of course you can vote for any station.
Run to the hills has it as his sig with a photo. look out for it.

I posted a competition here awhile back and I just got a call to say I won a holiday to London! I've been entering competitions for ages, this is my first win. I've been pretty broke lately so haven't been on a holiday in ages. I'm so delighted. :D

Well done. Nice to see holiday's being won. I haven't been that lucky. (Yet :D - must stay positive)

However, I did win a food allergy/intolerance test through whatswhat.ie.

So, here's the story, They rang me Thursday 28th and said they'd send me a confirmation email. I never received it, so I rang them last week and said they'd send it out, must have been an accident/oversight. And now a week and a half later, nothing still! Has this happened to anyone else here?

I have won several things over the past couple of weeks that never turned up - didn't want to pester them but it has been a while now so might chase them up!

I guess when you feel you enter lots and you hear nothing, I have stopped doing them all when I don't particularly care about winning so now I only enter the ones that I do want to win! :D

I normally give the 4-6 weeks before starting calling - often they have to get the prizes from outside suppliers and have to wait! But come that 4-6 weeks I'm on the phone!:D

Thanks for your replies. I just don't understand them saying they were sending me on a confirmation e-mail, and it's taken them over 10 days to send that!

    I've only been doing comps for a few months now and have been quite lucky - although it has to be said that most of the ones that I win tend to be through Facebook! So far I have won ("won" being used lightly in many cases!!);

    - a small teddy bear
    - a €150 voucher
    - 30 Brodericks bars
    - Concealer worth €15
    - Tickets to Various events, including Electric Picnic :)
    - Bodyshop Lipgloss
    - Best Restaurant Book
    - Bag

I have to say though that if I won a good holiday I'd never do another competition again! :) It is great doing competitions when you have nothing better to do though - I havn't been doing badly!

Ah don't worry, you're not missing much. It's basically a shopping fair, nothing special about it. I left after about 15 mins there when I went a few years ago.

Don't think I have seen this one on here: http://winalaptop.pantokaraoke.com/irquestion.aspx

This is similar to the comp they ran in the summer for a wii, in that you can enter everyday. You just need last 4 digits of barcode (0262)
There is 5 draws everyday for a Samsung N270 Netbook.
    For all T & C go to www.putonapanto.com
    Good luck.

PS Anybody ever win any of those Rte Guide or Tv Now comps?
