self assessment tax

    does anyone know what date your tax comes out of your account if you are doing your returns on line? i think it is a round the 17 of november , had a look on revenue site but couldnt see it

    Last day of online tax returns is 16th nov and afaik it comes out on the day

    yup but you have to pay it first before you get your refund- unfortunately:rolleyes:

    i wonder would tax man be ok with me telling him that i "should" have it for him in november and then later tell him "hopefully" before christmas even tho ive no intention of paying him until next year - just like the dept owes us reps money-i think not theyd be interest and charges and penalaties i wonder could we charge the dept interest for the extra few months they have our money...

    my dad was wondering if i sent them 2 cheques forwarded dated for may and june next year when the milk cheques will be bigger , would that be ok
