Did any of you guys do the annual January experiments day for leaving certs before going to maynooth? Just wondering if it's a relaxed day like if you wander round the lab and pick which experiments you want to do or do you have to stick to your group?

    Thanks

It's fairly good craic, I done it back in 2002  You just get put in a group and you rotate through all the experiments and make your notes or whatever. They generally do some sort of presentation as well for everyone. Don't think it's changed too much in the 8 years.

I did one in Physics when I did my Leaving Cert, but I think that was one day specifically for physics students.

Didn't make much of a difference to me...I was a lost cause for physics but it was great to do all the experiments in the one day.
