Grazing new reseeded land

    I want to put a few ewe lambs onto new re seeded grass

    how long should grass be up over ground when i do this and how long should i leave them on it?

    It is not really about length of grass, it is how strong the grass roots are so when they eat they don't pull the grass up.

    You can graze it down well but as long as they are not damaging the reseed then there is no problem, just make sure the grass is established enough and just watch it when the weather is wet - no point in damaging it.
