Does anyone know where or if you could get an axe sharpened in north wicklow.

My dad uses it for chopping sticks and not for any other activities;)

    Thanks

An axe shouldn't be too sharp, and it would be unusual enough to have to sharpen one. Perhaps it was used to chop logs on a concrete area instead of a wooden chopping block/log?

Anyway, if it needs to be sharpened, it's easy enough to do with a flat file (available in any hardware shop), or an angle grinder (any builder would have one, or car repair workshop, or anywhere that repairs lawnmowers). It only takes a few seconds to do so don't pay anything beyond the price of a pint.:)
