Hi, I'm an International Relations student and I'm looking for work experience in the political field. If anyone knows somewhere where they take on interns could you let me know?

I've already tried all the English-speaking embassies in Dublin, my TDs, the European Commission, the European Parliament and the UNCHR. I haven't gotten a reply from them all yet but I'd like to get something ASAP.

I'm going to try a couple of NGO too, but if there's some other places I should try could you tell me please? I'm available 36hours per week.

    Thanks in advance,
    Keith

Mods, didn't know if I should post here or elsewhere. Sorry if its in the wrong place

It also will depend on your grades thus far and your level of studies.

I doubt you'll get much "work" - perhaps you should set your sights slightly lower and consider summer internships or summer clerical jobs in offices to get your foot in the door?

Might be worth asking in the Work & Jobs forum also.
