Was involved in Beta testing in the summer for the new MoH, wasnt impressed with it at all.

It finds itself in a weird hole. The series has been totally eclipsed by battlefield and call of duty, and the new game is trying to hard to not copy the two, but falls short of being any use.

It is developed by the same crowd who run Battlefield, and clearly there is a heavy influence. But the game falls short in every department.

It tries to not copy battlefield, but tries to copy if you know what I mean.

    Its pretty terrible basically.

Had a good 8 hour test on release day in work aswell and just wasnt convinced.

Also whydave I took pretty big offense to that picture. Looking passed the point your making me out to be a spaz, some how connecting me to ANY Russian gun, gear or attire is the most disrespectful thing I've seen or heard since the old Eirsoft jokes about my misses....

Which I'd let come true quicker then me wielding an AK.

Regarding locking the Radios Ads thread yep an absolute disgrace and I'll take whatever infractions are being handed out for saying that.

I bought MOH its ok the single player campaign is too short is the general consensus. I actually liked the story arc of the single player campaign despite it being short. It brought in a lot of themes I had seen in documentaries or read in books about the campaign in Afghanistan. I finished the campaign and I thought the story gave me a better appreciation of the sacrifices made over there. Now someone else could play it and feel its utter tosh :) fair enough.

Dont really go in for Multiplayer as I hate being pwnzered by 10-12 year olds.

In fairness I didnt expect anything else, MoH lost its appeal the day Call of duty came onto the PC.

When I saw the trailer first people around here were getting wet dick if I remember correctly.

    At the time called it
Jumping on the Call of duty bandwagon , will probably make a balls of it so I'll avoid

And of course as usual I was right ;)

There is literally nothing in it that makes it appealing.

And just to point out, single player is absolutely no use looking at. a game like this is trying to be a heavy hitter online so its only useful looking at it from that perspective and it does fail a serious amount.

Two different developers for the single player and multi-player components. Ignoring the multi player aspect which is not important to me (thats why I play airsoft) the single player campaign is ok. It suffers a lot from over scripting frame rate drops and two inch high obstacles.

Anyway played it finished it roll on Black Ops.

what got me excited (i was one of the original poster on it) was the krazyassstan story line ,
dont think il bother now ,

    back to BFBC 2

    till black ops

havent played fallout at all ,might pick the new title

I loved Fallout 3, but I never had time to play it so I never got very far.

I probably won't have time to play this one either, but I might pick it up and give it a shot. The voice cast seems to have gathered a few decent names this time, too. Apparently having Liam Neeson in Fallout 3 gave it some credibility. Felicia Day, Matthew Perry and Danny Trejo are all main characters. Ron Perlman (obviously, what's a Fallout game without Perlman narrating?) is back. Get this though, Kris Kristofferson and Wayne Newton are apparently in it. I mean, I know it's Vegas, but that's unexpectedly awesome. Wil Wheaton voiced the Robobrains too, which is equally fitting.

    COD4: Great (ACT)
    COD5: Sh1t (TREY)
    COD6: Good/Great(Overdone completely IMO) (ACT)
    COD7: ..... (TREY)

    Work it out.

I have a Black Ops poster, still in the plastic. Think I'll use it as a target for the HBAR.

lol @ the airsoft event expo thread in Airsoft Events

**** like that gives me some serious lolz

Assume that account is now banned from the forum?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,226 ✭✭✭gerrowadat

Classic. It's the same story again, people can't just say "I'm doing this event", they have to be all cloak and dagger about it, assuming we're all thick.

Checked out their website: under 'exhibitors' section it states that the cost is €200 for a 9" x 9" area - it must be an exhibition for ants.....:pac:

Also, if you look under the terms & conditions it says:
12.4 The use of propane gas, butane and similar gases is prohibited.

    - that should make the pistol challenge interesting if you can only use springers!!

EDIT: Classic bit of sleuthing from Gerrout by the way!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 23,141 ✭✭✭✭TheDoc

Yeah big time, those accounts need banning straight away.

That cloak and dagger **** just brings negetive press, hopefully the event is avoided now.

If someone has be like that to advertise their event, could you imagine what they are like running an event?

Wearing T-shirts that used to be long sleeves if you know what I mean....

There is so very much wrong with captioning that photo with those words. I shan't go into it, but it's existence displeases me.
