Just thought I'd start a thread for where you got a good deal. I'll kick off with this one. I was looking for waterproof pullups, now that winter is nearly here and there's still a few electric fences to be moved.

Bought ski pants for 27e in tk max. Marked down from 99e, very comfortable, breathable waterproofs, I bet they're the only feckin ski pants that will see more cow****e than snow!:P

If the seat's wet, sit on yer hat, a cool head is better than a wet ar5e.

You're going to get wet in breathables! But you'll dry off again. Also, if buying say a breathable jacket, if you wear cotton underneath then it'll be a disaster. But, if you wear synthetic fibres with something like wool thermal for cold weather you should be fine.

The army surplus in Midleton had decent Goretex jackets for €50 during the summer and decent goretex trousers for about €40. I bought one of the jackets, it seemed new and had a NATO part number, so it must be ok.
