Synchronizing files over multiple PCs.

Hi all.

I'm looking for a new method to keep files and folders synchronized between two Windows 7 machines using a USB key. I used to make do with using briefcase when the PC's in College were on XP but now they have been upgraded to Windows 7 and I would like to use something better. What do you guys use / suggest? Not that I do not wish to use online file syncing tools such as Dropbox or Windows Live Mesh. USB only.

Ah I just got annoyed when briefcase froze on windows vista/7. I think it had something to do with my lappy being XP. Would like to explore other options if possible

Are you talking about two college PCs? A home PC & a college PC? how much access do you have to install apps on these PCs? are you looking for something that's portable? etc...

I can second synctoy, syncback is very good too.
