Hey there, from this Saturday April 17th (and fittingly on annual record store day) we will be moving into All-City Records on Crow Street, Temple Bar.

All-City is just in the middle of renovations but will be re-opened by the weekend, when we will be getting started on moving in a new selection of techno, house and electro, to add to everything they've got in there already.

We will also be doing a fair bit of secondhand stock too, of all genres.

So here's the rest of this week's blurb! :

Tomorrow marks our move in to All-City on Crow Street in Temple Bar. All-City is already a great record shop with tonnes of amazing music, not to mention everything else that they do - from spray cans to magazines to the coolest of clothing. Between what they have and what we’ll be adding, we hope that there’ll be something for everyone at the shop.

Check below for a list of records that have just arrived, and will be available from tomorrow. New release wise we probably have slightly more house in than techno this week, but sure “it’s all house music”, isn’t it?!

Check also for other selected Tresor, Red Planet, Minus, KMS & UR releases too.

Electro wise it’s quiet times in general but we have the new killer 12” by Miami bass freak Gosub, who some of you may have had your eardrums enriched by in Twisted Pepper recently.

Our first lot of secondhand vinyl (all genres) will be in too.

Finally just to clear up any confusion from today’s issue of The Ticket – there will not be a talk or dj set (s) taking place in the shop tomorrow unfortunately. We don’t know where that came from! But nice of them to mention the shop and reopening tomorrow!

For the latest Off-key release, Offkey turn to some of their favourite producers to remix our previous release, 'From The Periphery'. Matt explains the rationale behind choosing each remixer: "One of the first names on the list was Schatrax, aka Josh Brent. I've never been a completist when it comes to buying vinyl but I used to scour the second hand shops hunting down every last Schatrax release. I was thrilled when Josh agreed to remix Dodaso and the result is a typically beautiful and deep reworking. Another producer on the original shortlist was Todd Sines as I've been a fan of his stripped back, tweaking minimalism for some time. Todd's remix of Dodaso is typically ****ed up and funky in true .xtrak style. On the flip I turned to some newer producers, the first of which is KiNK, who caught my attention with the twisted sound of his solo releases as well as collaborations with Neville Watson on Rush Hour. His remix of The Gauntlet remains quite faithful to the original whilst also instilling it with his own trippy and unique style. Last year Peder Mannerfelt, aka The Subliminal Kid, sent me a track which became the only track released on Off-key through a demo submission. Peder ended up having a stellar year as part of the production team behind Fever Ray so I was very happy to have him remix Blackwood Freestyle which he's mutated it into a rolling dub inflected groover."

Orphx returns on Sonic Groove soon again after last years widely acclaimed “Division EP” which was charted by many top techno djs. Their newest release “Black Light” will once again explore the dark deep dublike sounds of techno. This is mind music meets dancefloor techno perfect for those after 5 AM mornings in Berghain. Expect this one to be once again charted by the crème of the le creme. We can already go as far to say Function of Sandwell District approved highly when he heard it blaring out of Adam X's studio monitors. Stay tuned for Orphx. ‘Back In The Day’ on the A-side is a slow and compressed House reduction, quite possibly the most effective dancefloor production from Mark Stewart to date. Making use of submerged strings and heavy kicks, it’s a track that employs a filthy New York warehouse aesthetic with that distinctive, modified square bassline that’s become a Claro signature over the years, bent out of all recognition. ‘New Life’ on the flipside is also wired for the floor, yet features skewed and euphoric chord sequences that evoke the hazy nostalgia of Ducktails or Oneohtrix Point Never re-imagined via tubular dancefloor machinations. It has that strange effect of driving peaktime activities without ever resorting to cheap thrills.

‘The Last Time...’ is the new EP from the much respected Miami artist, Gosub. Expanding on the electrofunk experiments from his previous releases, these tracks are a sleazy stab at predicting funk’s future. The intro track, ‘The Broadcast’, appears in instrumental form on the vinyl, and sets the tone for the EP with its laid back slide. ‘The Last Time I Saw You’ picks the pace up, setting yearning synthwork against an oscillating electrofreak backdrop, whilst ‘Towards Your Middle’ sounds like the kind of music that exhausted sexdroids would power down to. ‘Black Nova in G’ is a jazzier interlude and evokes the soundrack to a flight through the cosmos. But ‘Eyes of Nimrud’ reminds us why we are here – with a nervous synth designed to induce dancefloor spasms, this is electrofunk at its filthiest. ‘Keep It Raw’ rounds out the EP and in effect summarises a tenet of this release – with a minimum of parts, funk is at its most effective when it is stripped down. This EP is the first part of a two-EP project; the second EP will be released later in the year and will include remixes by Kode9 and Dâm-Funk, both supporters of Gosub’s 2007 album on Citinite, ‘Watchers from the Black Universe’.

Revy's music is strange. There really is no better way to put it. Having grown up in the Pacific Northwest USA before moving to Tokyo, the influence and contrast of nature and technology are made clear in his mesmerizing pieces. His sound is one that is complicated, rapidly revolving between themes which are at times serious, beautiful, strong and others almost comical and ridiculous. Each track encompasses such an emotional gamut that they themselves seem to be intelligent entities. If Revy's creations are living creatures, then "Brainburn" is a monster. It's from right inside the belly of the beast. Atop a basic foundation of driving dance music elements is a myriad of texture and motion, both rhythmic and random. It's nine minutes of devouring insanity. On the outside of the flip, Glasgow's Harvey McKay (Soma, Perc Trax, Klientele) tames this predator with a remix aimed directly at the dance floor. He's picked the original down to its bones and molded a new skin for it from his unique tech-house aesthetic. Heading inwards to close the 12" is a version from the almighty Jerry Abstract (****katapult, Detroit Underground, Semisexual). Jerry is the producer's producer, remaining low key but known of in many circles, under many guises, around the world since the 90s. In his version of "Brainburn", the Detroit-to-Seattle transplant kicks off with an absolutely massive build before mutilating the original into a cold, twisted mangle, taking an already strange piece further into the land of experimentation.

Great follow up on Van River's original Wood Sequence track and some more new tracks on this ep. A1 Hanna Sandvik's Employ provides a raw no-nonsense straight forward techno track. While the A2 side Peter Van Hoesen's remix for The Subliminal Kid's Upp/Ner (F001) gives us just the basics; some straight up fierce minimal techno for the club! On the flip Tobias Von Hofsten's Fuktish produces some energetic breakbeats that surely put any dancefloor on fire. B2 is where it all started with Van Rivers' Wood Sequence track given the remix treatment by DVS1 and still maintaining it's original deep and dubby vibe with it's mesmerising synth stabs and space chord echo fx.

This is the first album coming out of the collaboration between Roland Casper and Sorgenkint. The tracks definitely have their own style and attitude. The tracks are moody with the 303 sound combined with shuffled drums and 8bit sounds. It is really cool to listen to the characteristic Roland Casper shuffled beats combined with a more aggressive bass line. This is a new school acid killer.

It all began with a chance meeting at last year's Fusion festival in Berlin, where label bosses Silicone Soul witnessed first hand the full effect of Extrawelt's jaw-dropping live performance. A few beers and a chat later, and a plan was hatched for the duo to release a record for Darkroom Dubs. Three delectable cuts of deep, melodic joy, and with a remix package featuring Robag Wruhme & Claro Intelecto due to land in the summer, this sounds like the beginnings of an incredible project.

Hot on the heels of Sync 24’s “We Rock Non-Stop” EP Cultivated Electronics continues into 2010 with its second release for the year. CE006 sees Miami meeting London via Cuba, with Interdimensional Transmission’s Alpha 606 and Cultivated label head Sync 24 teaming up for first they’re full release. These two bubbly analogue Electro jams follow up they’re 2009 debut on the Touchin’ Bass complilation “Geometry”.

The A side’s “Lunar Passport” is a minimal, linear affair with stripped down 606 beats, rolling subs, clicky bass and a spooky lead line finished off with spacious pads. The flip side’s “Forest Communication” leans more to the funky side with deep 808 kick drums, quirky sound effects and wet wobbly bass lines.

Watch out for various releases from Sync 24 this year on Cultivated Electronics including remixes from Scape One, Ed Chamberlain and Plant 43. As well as Alpha 606’s first Long Player on Interdimensional Transmissions scheduled for later in the year.

Function / Silent Servant / Regis – Sampler Single One [clear vinyl] (Sandwell District) 8.50
As Sandwell District prepares to release it's first full length album this Fall, the ever enigmatic, 'art brut' collective teases us with two various artist, pre-album, sampler 12"s featuring original tracks and edits from Function, Silent Servant, Regis and Female. And the result, as you would expect, is some of the most beautiful, forward thinking techno to surface in years. With no track titles on offer, this first 12", lovingly pressed on clear vinyl, opens with "Intro", a collaboration between Regis and Function that sets the tone for both records with a sonic, industrial landscape which explores the depths of Sumner's classic SH-101 analog bass tones mixed with the perfect, subtle balance of O'Connor's expert noise treatments. Next up, Function delivers another one of his modern, yet ancient gems. This arpeggiated, cosmic masterpiece encapsulates timeless techno with its stringy, otherworldly demeanor, investigating time and space in the same vein you would expect from early Red Planet and R&S. On to the B-side, Regis delivers a mind blowing, dub-step tinged edit of Silent Servant, utilizing Mendez's lush, Kraftwerkian strings combined with Master Regis' thunderous undercurrent, this forms the perfect counterpart for Sumner's contribution and hones in the dreamlike quality found on both of these 12"s. Finally, the B2 track is a hidden, uncredited one minute experimental bass track, with an almost John Carpenter type feel that no one has claimed responsibility for.....

Female / Silent Servant / Regis – Sampler Single Two [blue vinyl] (Sandwell District) 8.50
The second and final installment in Sandwell District's pre-album sampler series (this time pressed on translucent blue vinyl), opens with Silent Servant's unedited original which picks up where his massive "Discipline" left off. This monstrous slab of warehouse techno slowly builds, stops for a moment to breath, and then unleashes an epic release, only then to wind down into a impressive outro reminiscent of Kraftwerk's best work, further capturing the illusory sound put across in these two 12"s. This is then followed by a stunning ambient piece by Female AKA Peter Sutton, which is a live extract taken from a studio session recorded in a lighthouse on the North Sea of England. On the B-side, Silent Servant delivers another proper slab of dancefloor hypnotica, this time exploring more tonal frequencies which include a sonar-eque pulse and eventually breaks into classic 'Silent Servant' melancholic chords. And finally, the last contribution is Female again by way of a Regis edit. This comes in the form of a visionary dubstep / techno hybrid which casts a spell and captivates the listener with its dark, trance-inducing mantra. Join the cult...if you already haven't...

New York techno artist Damon Wild from Synewave supports this first release with a deep dancefloor remix bomb and label friend Nick Dunton aka The 65D Mavericks from Surface Records also comes round with a great modern remix of the original track.

Unknown Artist – Lost Trax 2 (SCSI AV) 8.50
SCSI-AV has been a well respected electro and techno label since it was born in September 1998. Almost 12 years later and after a short break SCSI is back with a classy Detroit techno record which has been sat in the vaults for quite some time waiting patiently to be released. As the second part of the Lost Trax series; expect deep bass, booming 808 kicks and Carl Craig-esque sounding strings. The production on both sides of this record is amazing showing the digital generation that analogue kit still sounds supreme. The Lost Trax series is a project for producers who have inspired the label to record something special and release anonymously as we don't believe it's necessary to sell music on the strength of a specific artist's reputation.

Robert Bosco – Biosphere EP (Minimal Soul) 8.50
Roberto Bosco is becoming an increasingly well-known name in techno today. He burst on to the scene with a remix of Juan Atkins’ classic "Game One" in 2007 on Orlando Voorn's NightVision Records. Since then, he's gone on to get praise from François K, who has regarded Roberto's music as "having an effortless quality; an almost dazzling sense of ease that masks a very strong foundation; a depth and musical maturity that belies his young age”. This lead him to his 'My Universe' EP release on Wave Music earlier this year. Now, Mr. Bosco has outdone himself with this 2 tracker EP release for Minimalsoul Recordings. 'Biosphere EP' is a 'diamond in the rough' and a standout addition to 2010’s techno releases.

Ceephax Acid Crew – Wild Westie / Romantic Gestures (Kitchen Dweller) 8.99
A mushroom and coriander curry is the recipe you get free with the latest Ceephax 12", a split with Acid Quiff called 'Romantic Gestures'. 'Tis the 3rd release on Kitchen Dweller and is a right old, crackerjack lo-fi wibbly mess on blue vinyl. The 3 Ceephax tracks are like Jenkinson Jr's take on Chaos AD - his brother’s DIY one off mad fest on Rephlex – but much more silly, random and sketchy, not without some mental Universal Indicator style 303 insanity in parts. Proper gibbering toytown stuff. Acid Quiff side is pretty darn fine too - just dark, scratchy underground experimental acid, staggering around with old skool electro beats starting fights with warped slow rave stabs and some fine samples. Scan One / Point B / Flint Kids – The Cantor Dust remixes (Interakt) 8.50
A perfect little package of remixes from London's Flint Kids. After their great 1st release they set their radar a little further afield to net the talents of the brilliant Point B and Scanone for remix duties. The results are, as you'd expect, precise and bass heavy. A good all rounder for fans of Combat for sure. The 12" is finished off nicely with a dark-stepper from the Flint Kids themselves fitting in perfectly with the rest of the cuts on display here.

With a string of EPs on Prologue, Mote Evolver and Komisch, Samuli’s hypnotic tracks are seducing dance floors and DJs alike. ‘Kosmos’ is Samuli’s biggest track to date, with blasts of dry ice percussion and thumping, heavy beats underpinning a solemn voice intoning the track’s title. Eerie sounds take ‘Kosmos’ to the outer limits, but Kemppi keeps it rooted on the floor with a resonating bassline. ‘Massa’ meanwhile, is a raw warehouse number, its gained bassline and crashing cymbals playing host to an evil acid line that threatens to spiral out of control. Peter Van Hoesen dissects and reconstructs ‘Massa’ using an intricate, stop-start arrangement and lithe, stop-start rhythms dipping and building until a heavy kick drops four minutes in. Meanwhile ‘Suunta’ sees Samuli back where he started, a heavy sub-bass and skipping percussion married with eerie vocals and atmospheric soundscapes.

Mowar’s 6th release is delivered by label boss Franco Cangelli, two solid deep techno cuts accompanied by an exquisite MLZ treatment. ‘Paper Cut’ is a smooth and hypnotizing dubbed out techno track for the deeper dancefloor moments. Stripped down and most efficient, Paper Cut’s intoxicating dreamy pad sucks you in from the start and gets you hooked on the dubby chords and an addictive bassline. Simplicity and solid deepness! ‘When They Come’ on the other hand is a darker affair with ominous pads and fierce kickdrums backed up by deep basses and funky schizoid sounds. Dark detroitish techno for brainwashed dancefloors. MLZ (half of Pendle Coven), turns Paper Cut into a darker cut. Dark acidic basslines, a pinch of Robert Hood mixed with the deep dubby side of the original. Very captivating until the very end of the track. Another strong Mowar cut!

The third Baud release was created by Don Williams. The label-operator of Mojuba, A.R.T.less and Wandering contributes the EP "Dynamic Rain“. The title track opens the A-side. Carried away by a kick-drum and completed by funky rotating sound objects, which will create hypnotic moments on the dance floor. Then the A-side seamlessly moves into the dropping and beat-less "Rain Reprise“. Soft sound drops serve as the clock-generator to complete this side. The B-side track "Glis Groove” emerges with a rolling beat and chord attacks, to finally lose itself in a bleeping, synthy-cloud.

Andy Stott’s first material of 2010 finds the producer in a sultry mood, delivering two House variants produced with his typically deep and luxurious style.
“Tell Me Anything” centres around shuffling snares, a rugged bassline and sparkling keys anchoring the track somewhere between wide open and summery expanses and the compressed warehouse environments of darkest North Manchester. “Love Nothing” on the flipside is the slower of the two tracks, but somehow one of the most important of Stott’s career, unravelling to expose an unfathomably deep arrangement of decomposed vocals and mangled percussion. It sounds like Newworldaquarium, Mount Kimbie and DJ Qu shooting the breeze, evoking the humid spirit and glamour of a hot summer in the city.

Limited to 300 copies worldwide - no repress. 160g, heavyweight vinyl. This is the second single culled from the upcoming cv313 double CD album ("Dimensional Space") due to come out later this year. This release features two versions of Infinit1, both recorded at Leipziger Platz Studio, Berlin. Recorded in a live session of over 2 hours, the title "infinit" is meant to define the nature of the work, the artist feels there is no beginning or end but rather an infinite state of being. This project was based on an experiment using a hybrid form of discrete summation to create a new hybrid of both "Waveshaping" & "Subtractive" based synthesis ("Carriershaping") currently being developed for mass consumption in the near future. Features the first remix ever from Germany's Stephan Laubner (STL) where he finds himself in one of his deepest moments. We'll let the music do the rest of the talking.

He picked up Ruskin's 'Prelude' EP on the man's label Blueprint and Berkovi's 'Crouton' from Mosquito, and both records became pivotal parts of Bergen's DJ sets and radio show back in Melbourne just over a decade ago. Mowar’s 7th release is an all-Belgian production. Belgian producer Ozka, who released on Aesthetik Records back in 2006 and was part of the 6th Sense collective during the mid 90’s with releases on Dave Angel’s Rotation, is back in the studio churning out tracks. His Hidden Roots ep on Mowar shows his love for basic mental grooves with clear Detroit and UK techno influences. The title track Hidden Roots is a mental druggy trip, with a simple bass-driven groove layered with dubby Basic Channel sounds and hypnotic sliding noises reminiscent of the Ifach imprint. Intel Dub is a dubstep influenced breakbeat-driven techno work out with again basic but intense beats and basslines and simple chord progressions for hip shaking madness. Show Patternz is the funkier track on this ep. An in-your-face techno groover with funky chords, jacking beats very much similar to the glory days of Ferox. On remix duty finds Belgium’s Peter Van Hoesen who turns Hidden Roots in a hypnotic warehouse monster dominated by throbbing bassdrums and filtered out chord stabs very much in the vein of his new album. This ep clearly shows that Belgium is not all about chocolate and unstable governments, but a hot-bed for quality electronic music!

Espania fast becoming the Techno Capital of Europe! Slight exageration perhaps, but maybe those days won't be too far away. The Transhuman label bursts onto the scene with a very impressive 5 track EP from Arcanoid and the Transhumans. From the off, the label plants is flag slap bang in the middle between Detroit and Berlin, which geographically may be somewhere in the mid Atlantic, but musically, you'll get the drift. Check 'Postindustrial' for a killer slice of Techno, the likes of which Robert Hood could be making these days.

The “Environmental Radiation Dose on the Moon” EP is the first collaboration between Zooloft and Aconito records. The two labels are twinned in exploring the limits of techno, experimenting with structures and sequences and ultimately arriving at the place where the deep and dark sublimes. The EP opens with “The Child That Was Watching The Moon” a track lifted right out of the drone-techno hymnal. It starts with muddied, subterranean bass and builds not just outwards but inwards. Filled with obtuse references and metallic rasps the atmosphere created is obscure and spectral. On the reverse “The Moon That Was Watching The Child” sounds like it’s been exposed to radiation. The sounds are distorted, as if created from samples of the genome unzipping. The arrangement is stunning, bells filter in and out and the layers smelt into one another. There is awe at work here, but it’s an awe that remains underpinned by terror. This release, mastered in Berlin at the legendary Calyx studio, is something of a record collector’s dream. It will be released on solid silver vinyl in a very limited edition of just 200 copies. ZA000LTD should be enjoyed on wax, this won’t be available digitally.

Miguel Mendoza is an amasser of analogue recording gear, and here he uses it to warp hypnotic sounds direct to the dancefloor. Movement is the message.

Vibrational Studies (In Echospace) is an alternate version of album opener ‘In Echospace’ and revolves around a relentless cycle of washed-out analogue loops layered around submerged field recordings and electric currents that somehow propel the track while at the same time immersing it in one of the headiest mixes Hitchell and Modell have ever recorded. ‘Symbolism In Transition’ finds Modell deploying a deep and padded configuration with a sort of late night shuffle so beloved of Move D - all squashed House vibes, with sparkling melodic currents and bursts of barely there white noise.

The fifth release contains more rare tracks from the Trax catalogue. The a-side features two mixes of the little known Gwendolyn track, which originally came out on Precision Records (named after Larry Sherman’s pressing plant) in 1984. This early vocal (house) gem was produced by Vince Lawrence and Jessie Saunders. It comes in two versions. A more straight forward original and a more dubbed out version by Farley Jackmaster Funk. A real treat. Side B features another early 80s Chicago track, again by Vince Lawrence and Jessie Saunders aka Z-Factor featuring Screaming Rachel. Classic Chicago house tracks.

Will Saul’s Aus imprint returns with the Lipsmacker EP, a collaboration between Bristol based bass enthusiasts Al Tourettes and Appleblim. Continuing Aus’ recent trend of fusing elements of traditional house and techno with the sub frequencies and rhythms of dubstep, the EP comes as a slice of forward thinking electronic music that continues to reinforce the ever-strengthening relationship between the two musical camps. Al Tourettes, aka Alec Storey, has been playing drums since he was 9. Beginning his DJ career at age 15, Alec began composing on an Atari two years later. After studying Creative Music Technology at Uni - incidentally the same course taken by Appleblim, Gatekeeper and Wedge - releases on Growth, KracktroniK and Input Output followed. Laurie Osbourne aka Appleblim needs little introduction. Head of Applepips and co-founder of Skull Disco, Appleblim has been at the forefront of the bass scene since its early inception. After meeting Al Tourettes in 2008, the duo’s musical partnership and combined love for techno and dubstep soon resulted in remixes for Phonica Records and Ostgut Ton. Nick Moore, also known as Linkwood, provides the final mix of the release. Rounding the EP off on a deeper note, the Prime Numbers producer showcases his typically confident mix of 80's boogie, Detroit techno, house and deep soul.

Four slices of Electro goodness from the London based Pyramid Transmissions label - regarded as 'one of the most on form electro labels' (DJ Magazine). This EP marks a welcome return to their vinyl output after almost a 2 year break in their vinyl transmissions. Label founders ADJ (famed for his outings on Andrea Parker’s Touchin' Bas imprint), and Pathic, both unleash some electro acid tweekery , albeit in somewhat different forms. 'Chin Up' by Pathic is a rolling dancefloor thumper, featuring a diamond cut bassline, and angular beats, counterpointed with spacious pads and undulating 303's. ADJ's 'Old Hat', takes the silver box twiddling a stage further, with a more minimal acid track, reminiscent of some of those warehouse destroyers of yesteryear. Stripping things back a stage further and ramping up the pace, is Miami based producer, FTG - the latest recruit to the Pyramind Transmissions space programme. His track 'Input Dada' typifies the sound of true Florida electro - a refreshing dose of alien funk influenced by the likes of Soul Oddity, Drexciya and Monolake. Also, to complete the quartet, Seattle native Twofourteen goes for broke with a belter of a track, Slatter Jatter, which comes replete with cut up vocals, elasticated synth sounds, and clever Machinedrum programming. Limited to just 250 copies. There are no plans to releae this EP in digital form but each record will come with a special coupon allowing buyers to download the release as 320kbps MP3s or lossless FLACS.

The first installment 'Journeys To The Deep Vol.1' sees label head honcho Nick Dunton of 65D Mavericks fame at the helm delivering the quality you have come to expect from Surface and it's affiliates and finds Surface continue in it's tradition of moving creatively in it's own direction. “Oikumene (65000 Leagues mix)” is a sure fire club winner, already being hammered by some of the big boys through the current festival season whilst “Echoes from the deep (Submersion mix)” is quite possibly Nick's most cultured track to date.. Timeless and technically hard to classify, it really pushes all the buttons that decent electronic music should.

Side A sees globe-trotting beats'n'bass warrior Dylan Richards aka King Cannibal apply his knowledge of precision-cut drumbreaks, fierce rhythms and tortured, filthy bass blasts that were so well displayed on his Ninja Tune album and earlier 12"s on Combat and Rag and Bone. He's taken parts from the powerful original half-step colossus of "Super Mantis" and created a snarling whirlwind of clattering breaks. This remix originally appeared on Mary Anne Hobbs’ Scorn vs. King Cannibal soundclash on Radio 1, and now sees the light of release. Play this one loud and feel the fury. Side B sees a totally different approach by Edinburgh's mysterious Wee DJ's. While Cannibal's version slashes you with chunky, razor snares, the Wee DJs opt to go deep, drawing the listener into a cavernous abyss that's fathoms below, with miles of smothering bass pressure crushing you from above. Sinister, poisonous synth riffs, muted growls, pulsating subs and disturbed, skittering electronic textures permeate the track which cruises like a Kraken in the lightless depts at 134 beats per minute. Adopting a syncopated techno rhythm, this is one for fans of industrial techno exponents like Ancient Methods, Regis, Makaton, Anstam, AQF and Surgeon.

Not sure man. Seems to be ok here.
It should open straight into a media player or else download straight to your computer as one file. Have a look in your recent files, they may have downloaded there for you unwittingly!

Edit-Select reach their 10th release, and to celebrate they have chosen possibly the biggest track from the previous 9 releases; Gary Beck's ‘Consumed’. This monster of a track (which featured on Richie Hawtin's 'Sounds from Can Elles' DJ Magazine mix), has been remixed by Mark Broom, and Dutch Techno legend Speedy J. Broom's Bang Bang mix is typical of his dark Techno sound which of course fits perfectly on Edit Select, and Speedy J cranks the intensity up a notch, with his repetitive groove that just sounds immense on a big system (when of course played on vinyl). The label's biggest release to date, and by far the most limited.

Windy city producers Steven Hitchell and Josh Werner continuing to challenge and confound expectations as Antenna International drops "fractaLRip" a speaker-melting 303 drenched bomb from Chicago's southside, harking back to the earliest days of outlaw warehouse and loft parties, this track is already doing damage in the crates of Justin Long, Traxx and Adam Marshall. While on the b-side comes the ‘Preludes And Nocturnes’ mix of ‘Introspective’ from Traxx' Faith CD to light. This version has been put through the sonic cacophony that is Hitchell's EchoSpace studio; packed with myriad gadgetry of assorted compressors, delays and the infamous echo chamber to create an ominous, building, dark entity not for the faint of heart.

Aus Music returns with the much anticipated Ramadanman and Appleblim single "Void 23", which comes complete with a re-edit from one of the cornerstones of electronic music - Carl Craig. The original track further fuses the production sensibilities of dubstep with the sounds and vibes of techno to devastating effect. Carl Craig delivers more than just a re-edit, changing the rhythm structure of the original to enable it to work in peak time house and techno settings. This is the first album Oscar Mulero has released under his own name, after two acclaimed LPs under the moniker Trolley Route. Well known for his skills as a hard-edged, raw and floor-orientated techno dj, his productions go far beyond, digging deep into the intricate landscape of intelligent techno, floating moods, reminiscent atmospheres, harmony and detail.
Grey Fades To Green is the affirmation of his maturity as a producer, using both hardware and software in the pursuit of a highly coherent and diverse album. The concept is split into two parts: The Grey and The Green, each one with its own character. The first part is rougher and meant for the dance floor, although pays full attention to detail and complexity. The second part is quieter, has a slower pace and is best enjoyed at home.

Hi there,

So as we approach record store day, it’s time for a new mailout.
Limited amounts on some of these titles, so if you’re after anything, be quick and come in and get it!

Tomorrow we’ll have some decks set up on the counter (like when Carl Craig and Luciano were in making pests of themselves), with DJ Platinumray, Shane O’Meara, Phutyle, Kenny Hanlon and Ronan Donnelly in on from 3/3.30pm-ish, and a bunch of others from the All-City side kicking things off from lunchtime!

We will also be reducing a lot of older ‘new’ titles that have been on the shelves for a while, and generally creating whatever bargain stock we can for the day.

Finally, a big thanks to everyone who has supported us at the shop over the last year. Your custom has been greatly appreciated. It has been pretty sad seeing some other record shops wind down recently, like City Discs and Comet, but hopefully we're now at a point where all the rest can still survive and that there'll always be some record store soul to be found in our great city.
