Hurray ! Halleluia ! I'm getting better at getting flying birds sharper :D.
Please feel free to C&C and even suggest PP, I know I should probably crop or do other adjustments but just don't have time (and know-how).

No C&C Mountainsandh - other than they look really great to me.

I think the first shot is a model for the Backlight Assignment set by Oshead:)

Noosixty, what were you using before? I'm thinking D90 myself for the same reasons, though I do love my D200 body ... toughie.

I was using a D70s up till now and whilst I had a certain love for it I was finding it increasingly limiting and thus frustrating!

I haven't had a real chance to test out the D90 cause the weather has been so dire here anytime I have had the time  but the little I have used it the difference is amazing! Taking photos now seems so effortless! ;)

The D90 is a great camera. Bought mine about a year ago and haven't looked back. :)
    Happy shooting!

Thks Keps, hadn't thought of that, but you're right I'll enter it so :). Have loads of other ideas for backlit stuff, whether I'll have time to do anything this week-end I don't know...

    Thanks!

I was hoping to get back up there this weekend (that pic was from last Sunday), but the color season may be over, as that whole area in the pic is now white w/snow as of yesterday.
