Wireless Internet while flying?

    Just wondering are Plane/company's like Aerlingus/BA etc offering internet access on planes ?

    Or is there something your can buy so you have internet access while flying ?

    Just wondering as it would be class for long flights.

    I know some american companys are offering it.. But not sure if it's eat Europe yet.

    You would would need two way satellite so unless you a Billionaire that not an option.

    Some of the US carriers have on-board wifi which are uplinked via satellite:

    I'm pretty sure Lufthansa have on-board internet services.

    lufthansa didnt offer any wireless when i flew with them in august!

    but as far as i no ryanair offer it
