Robert G. Edwards won the 2010 physiology & medicine prize for developing IVF. Patrick Steptoe would have probably shared it, but he died in 1988.

Yeah, saw that earlier today. But every single article about it was talking more about the fact that the vatican was throwing the toys out of the pram.
