You can get reeses cups and nutragious bars in Spars (like a 7-11) theyre doing them more and more!

Dont get fooled by Dunkin donuts and tim hortons in Spars though - theyre fake fake I tell ya!

So are the Oreos Stupid spanish Oreos they suck!

Do's and Don'ts of Irish relationship culture - Again I refer to Copper face Jacks there you will see Irish Culture

Making out with someone is like giving them your Phone no over here! everyone does it! (yes im sure that will gross you out!)

Virginia was legend I lived in Williamsburg and worked in Busch Gardens! although that was like 8 years ago! (Jebus where does the time go?)

Well how the heck do you do this couch surfing... I don't know if that would be safe for me, traveling alone if its what I think it is.
And I wouldn't be able to return the favor, considering I live with my mom to help her with bills and such, I don't think she would like that...I do help her out and such, but it is still her home, lol. Love my mom, :)

There's a website, you sign up say where you'll be going and see who offers you a spare bed or at least a couch, or as others said just chat and meet people.

I understand the trepidation about travelling alone and being in a strangers house so it may not be for you but it's an option.

You don't have to return the favor but it's that community spirit that made the idea a success. Obviously if you live with family noone would expect you to put them up.

Or you could just keep chatting on here, make some friends and when ya come over there may be no shortage of couches on offer.

Ahh the amusement park, awesome. I'm from the south of Virginia tho. Near the boarder of WV. I basically live on the state line to both.

Everyone makes out...like sponatanously?? I've heard different things about the dating culture there, but I don't know how much of it is true...

Basically instead of talking to lovely young ladies and getting a phone number to perhaps woo them later a guy will either try hump your leg on a dance floor until you tell him to fúck off or if you're interested give him a mooch.

Aparently girls slowly back their ways across rooms via directione from their friends until they "accidentally" bump into the fine young man they had their eye on.

Relationship may occur if you wake up the next day and they're still as hot as you found them while drunk.

I actually met a couple recently who did something similar to this but it was more to do with apartment minding and pet sitting

Theyre from New Zealand but traval the world quite cheaply by minding peoples pets the only issue is that you cant really go to far a field as youve to come back and feed the pets!

Its a good idea, but I think more for students and bag packers, I like the comforts of my hotels!

Oh the OP is going to get a major shock when she gets here. I'd really suggest going to Germany instead. Cheaper, the people are nicer and there's far more scenery. Oh, and the cities are nicer too.

The girls already said she wants to come to Ireland. Which rocks btw. Why are people bashing our country.

I'm loving the tags on this thread too :D

Sticky_fingers, OPENROAD, Frada and Canis Lupis Could you please not post about stuff you genuinely don't know about? The girl is visiting a foreign country and you are talking shyte.

Americangirl1, like every country, there are people who will knock the capitals, be it insecurity, ignorance, lack of education or just pure jealousy... You are coming to Dublin, that's that, no point in listening to ill traveled people who are just going to put it down because of their own agendas.

"Dublin is good fun but is very expensive"

Laughable. You won't eat for less money anywhere else in the country, the museums and galleries are free unlike most capitals in Europe and the hotels are almost as cheap as the hostels.

Dublin is a warm, vibrant, friendly city, but, like everywhere, keep your wits about you. You won't have a problem socialising or making friends. The whole country has a huge pub culture, that's where it all happens. Don't knock Temple Bar completely. It's a great place during the day and afternoon, lots to see.

The country is fantastic. I holiday in Ireland a few times a year and still have loads to see.

    Enjoy.

Uhhh ok, lol. So I should just think of them as horny dogs, wanna hump ur leg and then pant away like a lil dog... Lol jk. I'll make sure to bring a rolled up newspaper. I heard that the women there don't go up to the men at all really, the men have to do the work... I'm very socialble and I find it quit easy to go up to a guy, if what I was told is true then I'm sure I'll havealot of fun approaching the men... Lol

I mean, this couch surfing. You either meet up with them or they can actually spare you a place to sleep... I mean which is it. I would definately not mind doing this since I visted the site. Definately save me alot of money... More info or experiences please. :)

Well I haven't done it myself but friends of mine have hosted 2 couples in the last few months. Basically the people found them on the site, looked like a place they'd like to stay and contacted them. My friends looked on their profile and feedback and decided to invite them to stay.

One was a couple who arrived and had a chat spent the days doint their own thing and had a few drinks with them in the evening. Then the second night cooked dinner for all 4 of them as a thank you.

Second couple were bro & sis, similar experience except they had a great laugh with the 2 of them and partied it up one of the nights.

Chances are they'll never see them again but they'll leave possitive feedback for them and if they ever decide to stay somewhere with the site they'll have more chance of finding somewhere.

Couchsurfers meet up frequently in Dublin. It's a handy way of meeting people or car sharing if you decide to you on a trip. Keep an eye on the website.

Second, I would really not like to go to France by myself, considering the men there are very sexually aggressive towards American women.

    LOL
Have you ever been to France?!
French men aren't aggressive towards women.
