TDM and IP Interconnect

Hi There

Does anyone know the difference between a TDM interconnect and an IP one? If you have the knowledge I'd be grateful for a chat!

Examples of TDM would be a PRI from Eircom. IP is just broadband. I assume this is in the context of VoIP?
