Col du Tourmalet in Hautes Pyrenees, France. The first snow of the oncoming winter fell on the high peaks on Saturday night. The bust is Jacques Goddet, director of Le Tour de France. The bird is a Griffin Vulture.

I thought this might be better with cropping the left out of the picture but in a way the players on the left help to frame the player in the middle....

Not a great picture because it was only my camera phone but I had to take it.
Farranwood in Cork, was working there over the weekend..this is taken from the NRC balcony at dusk.

The colours were just..unbelievable, wish I had a better camera to capture it.
