I think someone on this forum some months ago gave details of how to print off your own postcards to use for postal competitions. As I have run out of postcards at the moment was just wondering if anyone remembered anything about it.

Don't know how to print postcards, but if you're ever around an O'Briens sandwich shop, they usually have a load of free ones on a stand on a wall. I've noticed this at 2 different stores.

I picked up a load of postcards at a pub I was in a few weeks ago.

Edit: My local bookshop sells 25 plain postcards (no pic) for 99c. I think An Post have pre-paid plain postcards also.

I recycle cardboard packaging to make postcards - only takes a few minutes an it's free:)

Thank you very much Midgej. Yes, I think this was the link that was mentioned some time back on this forum. I will try this but also many thanks to the other posters for their ideas as well. I will certainly have a look at the O'Briens sandwich bars and the recycling idea I will definitely try too.
