Remote for Sagem itd 631 (Chorus MMDS Digital) broken

    I have the Chorus MMDS Digital and my STB remote is broken. I have tried to contact Chorus for replacement but failed. Anyone any idea about a universal remote control that could be used to drive the STB?

    Someone I know used to have Chorus MMDs and the Lidl/Silvercrest URC801 universal remote pictured (I have one as well) was able to control the 'Sagem' box. (Sagem STB is listed under 'SAT' (satellite STBs) for this remote's codes, at least one of the 3 codes listed works). - this might be of use to others.


    In contrast though - this same Silvercrest URC 801 remote is unable to control a (same brand) Lidl/Silvercrest satellite receiver I have - unless you use the original remote to 'learn' from it' .

    BTW as an aside that Silvercrest remote will work if you have only 2 AAA batteries (it takes 4) as its 2 *2 in parallel :)
