Dryer in a shed ?

Hello all,

new baby on the way soon and thinking we need a dryer.
However we really have nowhere in the house for one and so was thinking of putting it in the shed.

So two questions:

1) Any reason this would be a safety hazard

2) How do I get power out there without digging up the garden

btw its a wooden shed

i live in a static holiday home on a nature reserve near blackpool[UK] and i have a plastic shed that i have put both my washing machine and dryer in,its perfect as we do not get any of the condensation in my home

Ok thats sounds good safety wise.
But how do I get power out there ?

i just run a extension leed out there,from a plug point in my home,and just unplug it when not in use

all outdoor power leeds [like the type you use for lawn mowers]are fully waterproof,but if in doubt run the leed through a thin plastic pipe underground,you can get these cheaply at any DIY shop
