    Hi All

I hope one of you may be able to point me in the right direction.....

The house I live in has only one wired T.V. point - in the living room. I would like to get an additional box upstairs for my teenage sons but I'm worried about the work required/cost? Do I need to get an electrician in to run a cable up through ceiling/floor and make connections (I know should prob be able to do this but tbh I have zero DIY ability) or will UPC provide full install including providing a point upstairs for a fixed fee?

If its relevant I already have broadband/phone/digibox with UPC.

Appreciate any advice any of you can offer.

    Thanks
    KN

Upc will do it for a once off fee of €50, and then the €5, or €10 on top of that each month, depending which box you get.

Their will also be €30 activation fee for the box, but this is refunded to you if you order online.

    Thanks Davy.

Sounds reasonable tbh, might calm tv tensions in the house.

Do you know what is involved? Do they run the cable up the corner of the room etc, sorry for being such a noob, not technically minded at all.....

    Cheers

Its hard to say what way they will bring it as every house is different. They could go along the outside of the house and in that way etc. They will just have everything on the surface usually.
