He should of called off that interview knowing he'd have a hangover. Simple as that.

Using that logic the man would never give an interview!:D

Who Cares, sure isn't he still on his holidays.

FF handlers really let their boss down in allowing him on Morning Ireland. If listeners to both Pat Kenny and Ray D'Arcy are getting their knickers in a twist over this, then Cowen's in serious trouble. I know his political style is to just brazen things out, but this has to seriously detract from his reputation. It'll be something to be dragged up again and again and again.
Plus, by appearing pisht on Morning Ireland, he's given all the newspapers and evening TV news shows an entire working day to get together the most damning commentary pieces. If this had happened on Vincent Browne, it would be 2 days before they could pounce.
Very poor judgment, Brian... or FF handlers, or whoever thought he was in a fit state to go on nation's most listened to radio show...

    Just Listened to it..

I think it might be one of his better interviews, He didn't use the usual political Bull****€, He was clearly a man hungover with the attitude of, Ask Me The Question Straight out,And I'll tell you the answer!!

There was a few moments in the interview, I though he was gonna ate the head of yer man doing the interview, when he asked him about the Bi-elections..

So What if he is hungover, We all know about his drinking, and to my knowledge this is the first time he has been interviewed in this state..

Give the guy some credit! There was a report out yesterday saying that sales in pubs were down. Clearly Biffo is taking a hands on approach to solving this impending crisis!

Even the fact he is denying it is annoying me. He is in a hotel in Galway. Of course he is going to have a few pints. It looks like he overdone it. I'd love if some of the bar staff came forward to tell us how many he had.

Having said all that... Brian, instead of saying the accusations are uncalled for. Just say, "I had a few pints last night with colleagues, but I certainly wasn't drunk this morning".

Stop talking down to us like bloody kids!

I know what was wrong with Biffo, the pharmacist would not give him his Solpadeine :)

Maybe he moved on from pints and started in on some Jagerbombs and/or tequila!
