I think those timetables rae still from last year. Don't think they've been updated yet!

The timetables for this year generally wont be up until the week before lectures begin.
This timetables may also be changed during the first couple of weeks.

The timetables currently on the website are from last year and may or may not be a reflection of next years.

You can also cjeck your portal page after registration, but the timetables are liable to change numerous times before term starts

The timetable on the portal page is clearly old. one appeared on my page after I registered but I could tell it was last years as the modules have changed and we have I'm registered for some with different names and some completely new ones.

Mines up on portal as well, but it's the exact same as the 09/10 CS3 timetable and doesn't include the 'new' Comm Theory we're meant to be doing, so I'll assume they've still yet to change it.

They usualy change the timetable dramatically before we go back so I wouldn't read too much into it.

Cake, and grief counseling, will be available at the conclusion of the test

Whats the story with picking modules for Cs2. Do we have a deadline to pick them by and how do we pick them? Online?

Looks like they're up now, barring one or two possible changes in the next 2 weeks.

I assume practicals and tutorials go up on a later date? Or is Multimedia first semester really only 14 hours a week?

I think my first semester of it was only 15 hours. So yes, you probably do only have 14 hours.
I warn you, you'll need the time, SO many group assignments.

Ive only got 12 hours this semester

    "No page present" :(

I did notice that the first year CAs get the management lecture on a Friday now. Even less people going to that then.

Ah group assignments... How do they work in this course? I hate seeing lazy farts get the same grades as the people who had to pick up their slack!

Depends on the assignments. Most as marked as a group, some of them had individual marking on parts of them.
I didn't have any real problems with my groups (except for a guy in one of my groups who disappeared at christmas, never to return), but you quickly learn who's good to work with and who isn't! ;)
