When watching analogue UPC channels sometimes the picture will disappear temporarily and a blue screen will come up displaying "temp loss of signal" for a split second.
Any ideas what is causing this

Where in the country is this happening?

This type of problem would be specific to an area (whatever your city or town is) as the analogue signals would be locally modulated.

    BTW
    Are RTE1,2,TV3,TG4 affected?

Phoned it in today. They "Boosted" signal. Restart. No change
    Technician call next week

    Replaced the scart lead,

Did you actually mean to say Digital UPC rather than analogue UPC in the first post? A Scart lead would have nothing to do with analogue reception on the TV's tuner.

Technician called and said it was a weak signal, disconnected the box in the kitchen (never used) and did some fiddling about up in the attic. Sorted now
