I was at both of their gigs aswell, they were great. Yeah the kiddies are a pain in the arse alright. Still wouldn't stop me from seeing them again if I had the chance to though, they should be back soon enough
Should have gone to see them when they played in the Voodoo lounge, that'd have been a badass gig.
Iunno, First time I saw them in the Ambassador was the best, they weren't as big at the time so there were less poncy little kids turning up hammered trying to out do their friends. Was on a bit of a high too that day, went to see MCR the day before and was seeing Trivium that Sunday, Alexisonfire on the 31st. MCD were so much better for gigs when I was 16

Ambassador was a great gig, my mate said he was at the Voodoo Lounge, he said it was unreal. While the academy was still a good gig, ity was far too overcrowded. I remember being squashed against those metal railings at the back at one point. It was funny seeing the drunken 16 year olds getting destroyed in the mosh pits though

It saddens me that songs from the last two Pixies albums get so overlooked. Love some of the lyrics in this (especially this part: 'i remember your red dress / like a field full o' poppy / you were making me dreamy / stunned by a love, got to do what your head says / could not let it stop me') and the song overall is ebulliently bouncy.
