Great pic - That's a great expression - The blurred rope and background really works as well.

My first attempt at something like this. Taken with a compact, so manual focussing is hard!

needs some proper cropping, but this is one of my fave pics that I've taken. Munster team as they face the haka. If look closely, the Munster kiwis are out of the line and are about to do their haka!

    Meet Trixie and Duke, Ballybough.

    Pics x 2

My old dog at home (who is long dead) was called Trixie. My sister christened her and I bloody hated it! Had never heard it before or since.
    Until now :D

Thanks Janer. I guess if you take enough shots the variety takes care of itself. :)

As part of my new back to basics stuff, I've started on a project to create a gallery of black and white photos of Paris in order to hold an exhibition early next year. It means I'll just have to take another trip there soon :D

I had a few moments to spare when I was attending an event around here so took the opportunity to snap a few shots of the Grand Canal Dock... Some place, so upmarket and modern looking, with elements of the olden days. Love it!

This was such a strange looking, unusual type of bale stacking, I'm still musing over it

bales look to have been made a bit soft so the weight of the top three make the bottom one go out of shape hence a good few stacks have toppled over.
