Can anyone here argue in favour of Ireland leaving the European Union? Would there be any benefits?

I was going to move this to the EU sub-forum, but it's not a useful basis for a thread. OP, if you want to start a thread on this topic, do so in the correct forum, and read the charter - particularly the bit about contributing your own views when starting a discussion - before you do.
