Advice?

I have a supplemental on the 8th of September (2 weeks today). Not worried about the exam as such.

My nan is currently quite sick in hospital and the doctors informed us today that she'll be lucky to make it through September:(

As it currently stands I'm fine for sitting the exam and all but should there be a sudden turn of events obviously some sort of arrangement would need to be made. Would it be worth my while getting in touch with my tutor now just to let him know?

Yes, absolutely, it certainly cannot hurt.

If the worst does happen, and you can't sit the exam, it is imperative you get in contact with college before the exam begins.

Contact your tutor and tell him the story. If the worst were to happen you'll have covered yourself somewhat and he/she'll be ready to help as well. Don't envy you at all mate.

Go straight to your tutor.

If he doesn't get back in a reasonable timeframe (could well be on his holidays), contact the Senior Tutors office.
