I don't think we have to worry about that because we have set subjects.

Comp architecture tomorrow doesn't seem hard but theres a lot of stuff to learn...

Firstly a question: Where are we for these exams?

Secondly, how is everyone set? Comp arch doesn't seem too hard, same with databases. I just hope problem solving is postponed for a decent length of time!

I think it said in the letter that we go to the foyer to see where the exams are.

I think I'll be alright for these exams. Hopefully anyways. Comp arch isn't hard, just means a lot of learning. Haskell will be ok for me. Databases I'll need to study for.

Wasn't too bad. I didn't expect it to be so similar to last years paper so I figured that the example paper he gave us would be what it was modelled on. Unfortunately not entirely. But I think I managed to pull through it pretty well.

    Question 4.

Briefly explain six internal interface standards.

Briefly explain six external interface standards.

did this mean explain internal devices like RAM and external like USBs?

Was pretty happy with it. Very similar to the pass paper that was up so cant really ask for much more.

And problem solvings now on the 25th Hoorah!

Yeah I heard about that. To be honest I would rather it was on this Monday rather than next because I was looking forward to a nice long break after finishing the exams.

But I suppose 5 days off after the haskell exam won't be too bad.

databases should be ok tomorrow. Although, its a bit strange, i have 2008/09 and 2007/08 papers, and the past paper she put up, which says 2008, isn't either of them.

Tis not a very well used langauge, but it does give you some
grounding in functional programming. I would have like to do
some in my course in year one:p

    Beats learning JSP:cool:

The hardest subject is probably problem solving because if you phase out for a few seconds your lost.

You might miss orientation where you register and get our student ID but I could be wrong your going to have to wait till you get your pack from DIT
