    Hi Guys,
Im going over to the UK to bring in a car next week and my flight is at 8am.
Can anyone advise on Public transport to get me there.

From what i read and understand.
    1. Train is out - First arrival in dub is after 9am
    2. jj's bus leaves at 1am seems the best bet - arriving at Airport at 4.30am. Its a lot of waiting but seems the best bet??
    3. buseireann website is completely un-usable - cant find anything on it resembling a timetable

    Any help appreciated!
    Thanks
    John

you can go on to bus eireann and do a journey planner but that still only takes you to city centre and you still have to make your way out to airport so mayb the 1am is your best bet - unless you can stay over nite in dub the previous nite?

Yep, the JJ Kavanagh is really your only option. Have taken this route myself many times. It's not too much of a wait really once you check in, you can have a wander around :) At least there's more to see than in Shannon

JJ's and wait. Bus Éireann's journey planner on their site is very usable, but they don't have as good a schedule.

Agree with the other posters about JJK being the only option. If your flight is at 8am you need to be there at 6:30 not 7:30. Dub airport is crazy in the mornings, especially going through security.

    I'd say JJs.

Or hire a small car in Limerick or Shannon and drop off at airport. Not so expensive and saves a lot of hassle.

Have used JJ and very impressed.

Bus Eireann web site is archaic compared to others.

Last time I went I drove up and left my car then came back on the ferry into dublin, went with my father so he drove my old car home!

    Best option
