I know this has come up before, and I have looked at what has been said, but it doesn't give me what I'm looking for.

I'm looking for a female doctor in the city centre. however I've been to Johns Square surgery and don't find that female doctor any good. Rang about Dr Alison English and she's away on maternity leave. So does anyone know any female doctors in the city centre? preferably ones you've had good experiences of

Thanks, but that's not exactly city centre. I just mean somewhere that I can get to without having to get a bus or taxi?

Try Dr Paula Mc Intyre in Abbey River House, across from Barringtons.
    I find her very good.
There are a number of doctors there, I know recently they stopped taking any new patients as the surgery was too busy so I am not sure if they would be able to accommodate you.
    The surgery number is 410355

There is also a surgery on the Parnell Street Mall, behind the Dole office. you have to ring to get an appointment though. they have lady doctors there.

Ya I know just if I'm switching over I'd want to see who I'm switching to, rather than a temporary person.

Don't really know where you're talking about. I know where the dole office is () but where behind it is there anything?

+1 for Paula McIntyre, I wouldn't go to anyone else, but in the event that I have to, the other doctors in this surgery are good too!

Ok rang Dr McIntyre, she's not taking more patients on  I'll never get this sorted. Does anyone know the name of the female doctor on Parnell St then?

Ok, so I eventually got round to checking out the doctor behind the dole office, and it appears to be shut down.

    Ggggggrrrrr

So now I'm all out of female doctor options in the city centre, I'm going to have to go with dooradoyle. That doctor Alicia Flynn has moved out there apparently, so will probably go with her. could anyone tell me does the bus pass near the surgery? I think I found the right location on google maps, and I'm fairly sure one of the buses goes out that road.

well I'm getting two different locations, one is opposite the crescent sc, and the other is much further down the dooradoyle road.

Dooradoyle road is no longer than a 10 minute walk, if you're strolling, so it's not a huge distance. Hop off at the bus stop at the crescent and you'll be fine.

Okely, I'll ring tomorrow for an appointment so, and find out where it is. After all this they better give me a damn appointment! or else! I'll shake my fist at the phone, and they won't know what hit them

Tried in there, but they couldn't guarantee that I'd always see a female doctor in there.

Have made an appointment with Dr Flynn out in Dooradoyle next Wednesday. Not sure if I'll even be here then though!
