The ACLU has a new quiz that should be taken by anyone who's ever sent an email or used a cell phone.

    Why?

    * With each passing day, we're leaving a trail of more and more personal data. Take cell phones, for example—90% of Americans carry one, each of which can be used as a tracking device.
    * At the same time, the government's appetite for our electronic information is out-of-control. The National Security Agency is intercepting 1.7 billion emails, phone calls and other communications per day.

The combination of rapidly-advancing technology and ever-expanding government surveillance could be putting your private information at risk.

My results are what i figured :)

Not sure No Such Agency will be interested when I encrypted G-chat whisper sweet nothings to a beau 10,000 kms east.

hmmm, I select "face-what?" and my security rating goes down.... none of my friends use facebook so the security ratign should have stayed even.

I dont share photos or video online and my security rating goes down... because my friends could be sharing photos with me in them... eh, no their not. I havent had my photo taken since my wedding and they werent shared online (no-one at the wedding would know how to! or if they do, they prefer not to). Again the security rating should have stayed level.

the quiz, while interesting , definitely has an element of paranoia built into it.
