Im one of those, nothing wrong with the old IRA, nobody ever says anything about it either, only changed it because i was in a lobby with some stupid retards with EIRE and i didnt want to be associated with them. Worst clan tag is PRO, i always think they will be good but they turn out to be a booster,kinda disappointing.

Couldnt agree more, using clan tag "IRA" is the height of immaturity in what is a community already filled with immaturity!
Like kids in estates scrawling this on walls simply cause they THINK its cool to say they support the IRA but in actuall fact haven;t the first clue of what they are supporting and the issues surrounding it.

Like girls saying they follow rugby, just to look cool and fit in, it has the same hollow twang of "look at me... arent I cool!?" ........facepalm.

That happened once on cod4, team domination on overgrown, the entire enemy team was uvf uda. I had to turn on my mic and say "howyeee lads wats de craic" in my most irish accent, they werent too happy! got alot of msgs about the pope... wooped their asses tho got 3 choppers.

I was listening to 2 Scottish guys laying into a black kid on it one night, he was a dick, one of those "I'm well 'ard me" types, but the stuff they were saying to him was ridiculous, he was giving as good as he got and it got quite funny at one stage but still, no need for it.

I usually find the best way of throwing it back is to just play better and demolish the offending guys

yea i try not to get into petty rows on it started to knock my mic off and only use when the boards lads are on.
have to say the funniest slagging match i ever came across was a london mouth peice(as you say well ard) slagging off two chinease lads calling them ''pakis''(london lad was an idiot) and the stuff the chinease lads were coming out with especially with thier accent was comical:pac: wet meself!!

i was waiting in a lobby to start and this kid who must have been around 12 or 13 ,says hey pitchking (my gamertag) can you show me that glitch on this map, im like what glitch kid, he says the one with my c*ck in your mouth, why this would have been extreamly funny had it been an adult, the fact it came from a kid made it wrong on sooo many levels

dont know much about the pc one i was playing saturday and this lad had IRA as his clan tag, ive giving my two cents on it in the thread already but this one was gas for the fact when you went on his page he had everything about manchester united and love united hate glazers he prob didnt realise he had a group as his clan tag that bombed the city of his favourite club. clownhead and he wasnt young either.

A few Boardies were on Wasteland last night - and just before the game started, the few americans started what can only be described as "attempted trash talk".. so the game started up, and then after about 3 minutes of spanking the opposition, we all simultaneously asked... "where the f*** are they?"

Turns out.. they all quit. For the first time since November of last year, I got a victory due to forfeit! :pac:

Apparently empty vessels do make the most noise....

As a possible "in fairness to them" moment, it is very likely that with you guys as host, their connection was appalling and they were getting serious lag. Not saying you wouldn't have won anyway, but when I get in a game where the host is in the US and I've bad lag, I just jump rather than put up with the pain.

I got in a conversation with a german lad last night. I began with my overly nice compliments in response and then he switched to german so I mustered up what little Irish I had and started replying in that. Eventually I blocked him because it was just getting annoying.
