Repeat failure!!

    Hey guys,
    Ok here is the situation... i just done my repeat exam today for 2nd year and well i dont think it went great but yet i might have scraped a pass!
    Anyway considering worst case scenario i am wondering what the options are?!?
    Like can I carry this subject on and repeat it again?!?
    or compensate?!? or what?!?:confused:

    OP: If you fall within the criteria for compensating, you'll be able to do so. And then you will progress on to the next year.

    If you do not meet those conditions, then you will need to repeat the year or repeat the subject/module. More than likely, just the module.

    Your results won't be out til the 8th of September. Put it out of your head until then because you'll be driven to insanity otherwise.

    Hi OP,

    You should contact your dean of course or head lecturer re your exam. If they see that you have put in the effort you may be able to pass by compo. If you do not pass, you will have to repeat the year. You can ask to do it internally or externally. My advise would be to try and do it externally (providing you do not have labs to complete/ did ok in them). The cost of repeating a year externally is €1500. Costly mistake but after shelling out the cash you will be sure you will never have to repeat again.

    Repeating can only be done internally as of last year. It's 1600 afaik for 1 or as many subjects.
