    I've seen the ad about it leaving freeview but Im a little confused as to what this means so.....
    Will it be taken off the basic package on UPC (Digital Value) and made part of the Sky Sports pack? Essentially, will have to pay more to receive it after September 1st

    No, it's only the freeview platform in the UK that it's being taken off, will continue as is with Sky and UPC in Ireland.

    It will continue as normal if you have UPC , If you have Sky you must be subscribed to there Sports pack to get it , personally if you are a sports fan I would go with UPC after all you now get ESPN, Setanta Ireland and SSN all on Select Extra pack, but I cant get UPC so have to pay Sky a fortune every month but having said that I do love there HD service which UPC cannot compare to as of yet

    There is NO CHANGE to Sky Sports News availablity on either UPC or Sky. It is being removed from UK DTT.
