Just wondering if the bird below is a white dove or pigeon, my guess would be pigeon but what do I know
also can they be found naturally in the wild or are the all just ones who were bred for those white dove release type things

While I'd call it a feral Pigeon.

What is the difference between a dove and pigeon? I thought they were pretty much one and the same?

Or you could call it a domesticated Rock Dove;)

Exactly! As all domesticated pigeons have a common ancestor, the rock dove.

It looks like a juvenile Fantailed Dove. They are not usually found wild as they are usually picked off by predators due to their 'stand out' colouring.
