Quite a good cover of what is one of my favourite songs. I do think his voice is almost overpowered by the instruments in that though.

I dunno, I really like his vocals in it. It's such a heartfelt song that I think the low vocals suit it. Fun fact: the girl who Reed based the song on doesn't actually have blue eyes.

Preferred the second half of the album to the first half though. "My Manic and I", "Night Terror" and "The Captain and the Hourglass" are all pretty damn spectacular.

I'm making the July 2010 playlist (well, the first major playlist that I've made since April), "We Lose Our Ways" right now. 18 tracks, dunno if it'll make it to CD. I'm bringing a shorter version (16 tracks, called "Caillte?" and with less electronic tracks) which I'm going to burn a load of copies of and give to friends down in Irish college.

It's a good playlist IMO, it covers a lot of genres without losing flow.
