How do UPC run the cables for their Digital TV service?

I don't want cables running along the skirting boards. I want them in the house.

Sorry for clogging up the forum with my questions btw.

And does anyone know if this will effect my UPC Broadband as I have had issues with UPC broadband and TVI with UPC's 17 channel analogue system.

    Thanks.

Usually on the skirting boards . But you can hide them (cables) behind the skirting if you want to remove the boards.

If the house hasn't been wired for cable tv when it was built, they typically bring the cable in through a wall or a window ledge to fairly large socket which they will mount on the window ledge or on the wall.

Usually, they try to bring the cables in where you would be likely to watch TV.

They don't usually run cables along skirting if it's at all avoidable.

The ex Chorus (now UPC) cable installations done in Cork in recent years look a bit like this : ntl.jpg

My cable Internet is interfering with my analogue TV, but I'm switching to UPC digital. Will the cable internet interfere with the Digital TV?

Also, shouldn't UPC boost my signal somehow? Internet shouldn't interfere with TV at all. Yet, here it does.
