    Hi

Apologies if this has been asked b4...

My parents have a Sagem UPC box and they find the remote control very difficult to use

See attached for pic of the remote

The numbers are very small and they find they don't respond easily - it might take a few attempts to get the channel to change.

I tried to use it and i find it the exact same issue so it's not like they are just not able.

Have other people had similar issues?

Can i request a new box and hence a new remote?

    Many thanks

That is an old Chrous box not a UPC box.

Just say the thing is getting very hot or somethig and they will replace it with this.

    Thanks Ranicand

    I contacted UPC....

They told me that they can't just send out a new box....

There would have to be something wrong with the existing one before they replace it.....

She said they could send out a technician but if the box isn't faulty they won't replace it and they will charge 50 quid......

Are they stuck with what they have or is there any way around this???

Threaten to cancel and see what the reaction is.

Well, if your box were to have a serious intermittent fault they'd have to replace it.

    E.g. it keeps crashing.

That or upgrade to Digital+ it's not that big a price difference.
