True but its just playing smart, if you're 1 kill away from getting something thats possibly going to win the game for the team like a chopper or ac-130 then why would you get careless and go running into somewhere and get shot? i usually have hardline on so getting 4 kills for a predator is easy enough, and the majority of the time I'll get a double kill or at least aim for one, if i get 2 then I bring in the harriers, if i get 1 I'll skulk around and get an easy kill to bring it to 6. let the harrier do its thing and wait around, if it gets the ac-130 then all good. if not then just restart it again. depends on my mood though.

Yup, that was my point tho, with killstreaks being the main reason people camp their asses off. Most of the time people that do camp for killstreaks end up with **** all kills anyway, at least if they're playing against people that have a clue. If i see some1 with harriers i'll switch to my stinger class and shoot down all their airsupport before they get a kill with it (Depending on the map) Choppers only need 2 stingers to take down and because i usually play with 4-6 guys from my clan, ac130's barely get a shot off either. It also depends on how quickly you can get the kills when camping, i know that if i sit back i'll get alot less kills and be alot less effective at capping and defending flags and HQ's than i would be if i was up in the thick of it. Also, 3/4/5(UAV+Counter) setup is ALOT better for the team than an AC130 or chopper.

Just my opinion tho, and i think its one of the things they're going to do with Black op's.... back to basics.

Ah you'll only get the same old answer from people here....

"I only use that class for fun"
    "It wasnt a serious match"
"I only use that for completing challenges"
    "Its only a game sheeeesh"
And the list goes on and on and on.

Enough people making enough excuses and you start seeing the MW2 nights like we do now.... lots of people complaining about these perks / classes / weapons and then go off using them under some paper thin excuse as per the list above.

    But it is.

Play how you want I say, if you're caught unawares by a camper, switch to a ninja/coldblooded class, launch a few nades in the door then stab him, problem solved. whinging about the way everyone else plays isnt going to win games for you.

Do you not stand still for a second while playing or something? seems theres no right way but your way to play this game, move too much you're a noob, stay too still you're a camper.

do i find it annoying when people sit by a door holding shotguns? absolutely, do I take great delight in launching a thumper grenade in the door while they cry and whing about me being a noob, damn right I do.:pac:

what would you prefer, people just let you run around because you're playing the "right" way?

    crybaby :P

Thats hands down the best counter argument for camping I've read on here.

Why, thanks for the compliment krudler! I just can't see what people complain about when they have the same options/strategies available to them.

For me it's similar to a football team complaining about the way their opponents played (provided it wasn't dirty/cheating). Either they lost and their opponents strategy worked fine or they won and they shouldn't be complaining atall and encourage their opponents to keep using that strategy!!

I completely agree, if I'm playing a certain way, be it lurking/camping or rushing, and I'm getting creamed, I change. I honestly cannot understand why people keep going back to get killed the same way by the same people then cry about it. they dont have some magic perks that give them a headstart on you (unless you prestige, which i just did, damn lack of ninja pro!) and the more you prestige the more custom classes you get so you have room to mess around or have opposing perks to someone who just killed you. I absolutely love putting on my riot shield class then casually strolling in the door where someone is camping and burying a throwing knife in them as they frantically either run away or empty their guns at me, then waiting for the inevitable revenge attempt, only this time I've picked up their own gun :D

ive discovered many spots that i use in hardcore TDM. from these points i usually get good kill streaks and numerous buzz kills. most of the spots are in corners or as someone said places where claymores can be layed and used effectively. The best ones anyway are in karachi the cafe beside the bus. back of the plane in airport where the steps up to it are claymore there aswell.bushes in the air field level right at the top of the map. scrapyard the grey square structure beside the office block.

    great:P
