    Hi All

I'm looking to get a couple of helium balloons at the weekend - want to buy them and get them blown up. Where is the best place to get these - the party shops in Heatons or Woodies.

How long do helium balloon stay inflated when they are blown up. Heatons said they stay for at least a week but some friends say a max of 16 hours??

    Thanks

I think it depends on the type, I got someone those huge number shaped foil balloons for their birthday in Card Gallery, about a tenner a number but they stayed inflated for a few weeks!

Probably obvious but make sure they inflate them when youre there and not pre-inflated samples as they wont last long. I think your traditional non-foil balloons last around the 12hr mark.

Yeah the foil ones are the ones that last a week, normal balloons don't last long, you'd inflate them in the afternoon just to last the evening really.

The large Tescos sell cylinders of helium, I haven't tried them myself but I bet they'd work well.
