    Hi i have a sony viao laptop and when i boot it up im getting
    Error 02B0: Diskette drive A error i have tried pressing f1 or f2 but it not helping. any ideas

    hardly a disk in the A: floppy drive, assuming that it actually has one..

    if you have a USB floppy drive, disconnect it or eject the disk

    check the BIOS for references to drive ( extremely unlikely )

    maybe it's a weird sony error

    moving to laptops , because it sounds like a BIOS message

    check the bios boot menu and see if its trying to boot from a (non existing) floppy disk instead of a hard drive
