I've been out of bed for the last hour, went to bed early-ish last night and couldn't sleep :(

So, it's half four in the morning...
I'm feeling incredibly sick. Don't know why. Could be down to anything, really. But I'm not sure if that's what's keeping me up or the bloody storm that's been going on for a few hours now. Heavy lightening at 2am, thunder nearly instantly afterwards, I'm convinced it might have hit the house.
Took down the internet connection and for some reason, eircom's DNS servers (reboot router -> switch to openDNS). Also I'm fairly sure my computer was turned to sleep mode, but I've just come down here and it's on.
    huh. wow.

At half four this morning, I dreamt that I was a palaeontologist with palaeontologist friends and palaeontologist thoughts in my head. We were deep in some thick jungle - as all good palaeontologists are wont to be - and the only thing I can vividly remember is when we were trying to figure out what sort of sound velociraptors must have made.

Suddenly a horse appeared, galloping out of the undergrowth. One of the older palaeontologists who looked exactly like Colonel Fawcett* got very excited, and started posing himself like a dinosaur. He bunched his arms and hands up into stubby little claw-like shapes, craned his neck about unsettlingly, leaned over on his tippy-toes and stalked after the horse. He tried all kinds of different sounds, barks, caws, mews, trying to find the right sort that the horse's evolutionary predecessors would also have been afraid of. Finally, he got it! The horse was on the move, probably terrified of this weird, hunched up old man.

So, yes... velociraptors go "rar!" Rigorous empirical scientific fact, right there! :p

*I say! For the Empire, eh wot!
