Balloons float

    hi lads,
    not sure if i'm on correct board.
    To get baloons to float 'mid-air', or at shoulder lenght of the averaged height man/woman?

    helium?

    If your talking about from a pure physics point of view , you would need to weight them , other wise you have to play around with the air helium mix until you get the right density which may change in a few mins

    a lot of party shops now sell mini helium tanks so you can fill your own balloons, or will fill for you for a charge.

    Helium is lighter than air, therefore it moves up and above the air.

    Put it inside a balloon and yes, it will float.

    Any time you see a balloon floating, there is helium inside it.
