Post Level 7 courses?

Just a quick question-I've recently achieved a level 7 degree. I would like to go on and do some further study, but I am having trouble finding anywhere that accepts a level 7 degree. Everywhere wants a level 8 honours. Anybody know where I can even find information? Thanks in advance.

www.qualifax.ie I think level 8 courses like the NUIM Higher Diploma in Philosophy for example take level 7 degrees as satisfying the entry requirement.

Also some of the Institute of Technologies have 1 year add-on courses to get you to level 8 in your area of specialisation

Just one more question...A lot of these course application dates have closed...does anyone know if they take late applications?Once again, thanks

I would say there is more flexibility with the post-graduate courses where you apply direct to the college, compared to the CAO. There's no harm contacting the secretary of the relevant department and asking. Even if they say they have filled the course, people often drop out before September for all sorts of reasons. Ask if you can be put on a waiting list. It might even be better to contact the head of the department. They have been known to be more flexible than some secretaries.
