I have two Weetabix with a scoop of All Bran on top, then cold milk and a dash of honey. Yum!

I eat cereal with warm milk in morning, not hot. an dcold milk at night. nomnomnom

Warm milk should be an accident not a choice, ie. the Milk coming out of the Fridge wasn't as cold as you thought or you didn't heat your milk up in the microwave as much as you thought. Cornflakes and Rice Crispies ice cold milk all year round. Weetabix hot milk in Winter and Ice cold milk in Summer.

5 Weetabix minimum with one teaspoon of Sugar per biscuit. With Hot milk the default is imediate stodge obviously, however with Cold milk I want the biscuits to soften slightly but I don't want to be eating stodge till the last biscuit. Timing is everything.

Nothing better for clearing out the plumbing when you feel gummed up inside than 6 weetabix or you are heading off to your last day of work and hate everyone fill up with 6 in the morning before heading off.

    Steady up here people:cool:

Weetabix to my mind is like the Showbands- not cool.

However, those of us who know, know the nice ..erm..'loose ' feeling one gets after ingesting two Weetabix buns doused in cold milk, left to 'mature' in the bowl',and spooned into the gob, draining the cold milk off the spoon like licking the 'melt' off an eager young conquest;) jeez:o

Anyway guaranteed to shift the load if you take a brisk walk post ingestion, just hold her on the clutch as long as you can and savour the thrill of sitting on the pan with a 'full crop' and blowing the full load of sludge into a receptive pristine bowl of pewter is ,well better than sex, arguably.

    Weetabix is very underrated.

Weetabix is a poor choice of breakfast in my opinion. Very high in salt and sugar.

A bowl of porridge, preferably left to soak overnight, with a pinch of salt added during cooking is a far superior breakfast. Add a handful of blueberries or whatever fruit floats your boat, and you have one of the best breakfasts in terms of slow burning energy.

At the weekends it would be crazy to not consider a couple of kippers with a poached egg, washed down with a mug of strong tea.

Some good advice there Sarge, however, beg to differ on the kippers, leaves the nipsy a bit rank and oily and permeates a 'giff' of soiled leather that apparently the ladies don't like.

    So I'm told anyway:confused:

Oh, okaaay, so it's for research :p
Cold milk is nice sometimes, don't knock it! But yeah, hot is better.

3 weetabix broken into ickle ickle pieces and loads of ice cold milk, every morning, except this morning, because i am hanging like a ****e so had a massve tortilla des patatas and a pint of milk, feel much better.

I can't eat weetabix unless I crush it up before I put the cold milk onto it, followed by half a spoon of sugar.

    But porridge is the way..

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,747 ✭✭✭Wez

Eat them while they're crunchy, or add some chocolate Crunchy Nut Feast in.. Bon appetit!

Literally every bowl of cereal I eat, has atleast 3 different kinds of cereal in it.. As a friend said: "Weetabix go with everything!". Same can be said for Coco Pops, I mean who doesn't love chocolate milk! :D

Usually have 2 Wheetabix crushed and a generous helping of Cheerios and pour the cold milk until it visable in the bowl.
But this morning had no Cheerios so had to make do with 3 wheetanbix and cold milk and a 1/2 spoon of sugar.
Last week I bought Honey nut loops because I just looked at the picture and presumed they were Cheerios.
Had to have them with cold milk as well but didn’t mix them with Wheetabix.
A few years back I used to eat Corn Flakes and Wheetabix mixed so that’s probably why I am eating Cherieos and Wheetabix now.
In winter I always eat porridge, but it’s too warm in Summer for it.
And it is Whole milk for me none of that Low fat or Skim milk.

Personally my favourite combination consists of:

    3 biscuits
    Drenched in warm milk
    Covered in honey
    chopped banana
    sprinkle of raisins

    orange juice on the side

How do you like yours, optimally of course.

Boiling water to 'melt' them, swirls of honey, slices of banana. Minimal amount of milk.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 20,739 ✭✭✭✭starbelgrade

I like them to stay in their packets & on the shelves at the supermarket.
