    In the paper today,an article about students from blackrock college , and st marys rathmines, highlighted that these leaving cert students were getting pissed and having sex with hookers in the costa del sol last week.
    When interviewed about where the students got the money to go on their holidays a student said

    So are the poor people the begrudgers???

    I read that article yesterday - I thought it was a copy&paste of a similar article a few years back and was just lazy journalism.
    There were pictures of people kissing on the street or falling down drunk.
    No proof that any of them were Irish at all. Or posh.

    Most parents do pay for their kids post leaving cert holidays. Mine didnt but a load of people i know did and i hardly went to a school of privilege :pac:

    The indo are just trying to create a class war because thats what seems to be "in" at the moment.

    i'm not rich (well i am now but i wasn't brought up rich :p)...but if i was 18 and was in the costa del sol on a rip for the week this is exactly how i'd behave...

    whats the problem? actually....it probably IS poor people who are begrudging them!
