I'm not sure, possibly a pound - I remember getting 60p when I was 6, 70p when I was 7 etc... Although this might have increased by the time I was 10, since a pound doesn't sound like very much!

The best is what's superior to all others. If one does not say in what sense something is the best then you interpret it as you like, or ask them what they meant.

What's the longest book you ever read?

  • Hosted Moderators Posts: 11,362 ✭✭✭✭Scarinae

Probably the unabridged version of Les Miserables, it was something like 1200 pages with fairly small print. It was awesome though! (having said that, I can see why it's usually abridged... Hugo is a bit of a waffler)

If you were going to live in another country, where would you choose?
