There’s no need for an eircom line with our service so you save over €304 a year when you switch from eircom. You can still claim your €26 monthly DSFA telephone allowance. This should stop all the crying from the analog people who are paying more then the very basic digital sub.

My guess is this is to keep people with UPC when the analog is turned off if they have a free phone rather then get rid of the service they might just agree to a digital box.
