whatever people say about them, they must be creaming it. They were on hector and tommy last week, saying they were on tour in Australia in March, UK in April, and the USA in May, if I have the order of countries right..
Now, no band is going to tour Aus just for the good of their health. They must be raking it in, and I would be happy in their shoes that they can play original music and make a living out of it.
I'd say the likes of the Blizzards (just an example, nothing against them) and other "trendy" bands wouldn't have half the touring potential the Sawdoctors have.
I wouldn't even be a fan of the Sawdoctors but admire their work ethic, and the fact they are still able to tour all over the place despite not being "hip"...
