I don't believe that stereotype anyway.

I remember a german friend telling me that her ex bf, used to schedule intimacy in his palm pilot under her full name.
And would refuse point blank to deviate from the timetable.

Every stereotype starts from a grain of truth somewhere :P

I used to live with a german dude and he was very much up at same time every day, shower at same unearthly hour every morning etc, then his girlfriend moved in, now that you mention it, think he could have had a palm pilot too :pac:
Still you appreciate their order when you're over there and public transport is so easy.
First time I was over there I missed the train connections and was trying to get help at the info desk, the girl was just so so puzzled, but why, why are you late

heh heh nice to have someone to laugh at me. Got you're silly.
The point is mam, I've missed me train, wasn't even my fault, flight delayed /lots of her shaking her head in disbelief.

How are you alone again, they not keep normal computer people hours in there or wha.

Culchie time lol! I understand that, punctuality is rated by how less late you are, early doesn't even come into it.
Our family has a lateness rep, all the relations give us stick.

but why? Why were you late?
Why would a plane be late, it was you
Nothing we can do for you.

they are all super serious working hard people and I'm the fonz, oh well.
I still don't know how to turn off these lights, heeeelp meeee

heh, telling people to be there an hour before you want them to be there..so they are just on time. My mopther cares not for our mortal linear timeline. You wait for her and that is it.
But mothers are special, like she walked into schuh with a blank piece of paper saying it was a receipt for shoes she got there a year ago and was charged twice the price, how she walked out of the shop with over a 100e I'll never know. anyway yeah, i change teh clocks in the house so that we leave on time...oh I'm onto you paul, it's an hour early, gotcha.../has secretly changed it to 2 hours early.

oh do they heh heh, that's meath for you heh heh heh

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 11,028 ✭✭✭✭--LOS--

why would you trick yourself with the clocks, that doesn't work, I would just not forget that I had changed it and would constantly be saying but it's really w/e time.
Drives me mad when the clock goes back/forward though and my mother for agessss afterwards starts with the..but it's really only such a time.

what! only mothers can get away with stuff like that, that's like my sister holding any old card the other day getting on the bus when she forgot her student card.
It's just my mother that gives us the rep though, it's painful all the slagging we get, it gets so bad that any time there is a big family meal or something they always tell our family an earlier time than everyone else :(
By now though we've adjusted for that and it's even worse :pac:

  • Moderators, Science, Health & Environment Moderators, Social & Fun Moderators, Society & Culture Moderators Posts: 60,119 Mod ✭✭✭✭Tar.Aldarion

Not tricking myself silly, tricking mother so that she will bring me places on time. Not that that is a prob anymore. She gets away with anything, like haggling in every shop...or if I'm like, 'but they said I can't do that' in the shop/government building..she just rings them and goes..that's grand go in now and they'll do whatever you want
She rang social welfare there today and made them back date a bit for me and reopen my file as I didn't go back in over seven days. Oh she just needs girly charm. It's diff for guys...although I'm sure it makes passports come quicker. Lmao at the meal thing, same thing I do to my mother.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 11,028 ✭✭✭✭--LOS--

Mine is the exact same for that stuff, I don't bother complainging about anything around her anymore coz she enjoys ringing up people and making complaints wayyy too much.
They are getting delayed making all those complaints see.
And then there's the well she would have done w/e and I should have done w/e, did I askkk ye grrr /teenager

  • Moderators, Science, Health & Environment Moderators, Social & Fun Moderators, Society & Culture Moderators Posts: 60,119 Mod ✭✭✭✭Tar.Aldarion

lol guess that's why they are delayed ye, nothing like a good complaint aye.
Oh do you get the mammy talking to people as if you are not there and telling them embarrassing things...worse than when she used to buy me and two of my brothers teh same clothes/shoes etc -_-

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 11,028 ✭✭✭✭--LOS--

god yes and dare I try to redeem myself or question it without her making me look like a sulking teenager
Love how she waits till she has an audience before commenting on something.
Least she got them! I got a lot of stuff from an older cousin who got that stuff from an older cousin again :pac:
Anyway I've been avoiding all that for a long time now :D

  • Moderators, Science, Health & Environment Moderators, Social & Fun Moderators, Society & Culture Moderators Posts: 60,119 Mod ✭✭✭✭Tar.Aldarion

Jeez should have learned by now, just ignore them and wander off, all for the best. Unless she is in, I wish <brother> were like paul mode, I can stick around a little. we all get our turn at that tho. Hate the audience thing, oh that embarrassing thing with my trouser dow...-_-

    :pac:

Least you got nicer boy clothes probably :p
I had a bowl haircut for god sake!
Yeah like a couple of years, you old thing

nooo it's a very sensitive cat, it's mighty scared of the cats next door who bully it, it used not be so bad but now it's afraid to be outside less you're out there with it, comes in and out the garage window which is part of the house but couldn't leave that opened if everyone was gone so it needs a babysitter.

ye messy haor, so cute -_-
we don't even look alike in that pic, what you on about.

Those are farmer browns we have there, not sure who made them but the logo was like a farmer version of the tayto man, think that's also an xxx bar there, think that's what they were called.
    anyway, nuffa that.

    song that got me hooked

    Alcoholic kind of mood
lose my clothes, lose my lube
cruising for a piece of fun
    looking out for number one
    different partner every night
    so narcotic outta sight
what a gas, what a beautiful ass.

And it all breaks down at the role reversal,
got the muse in my head she's universal,
spinnin' me round she's coming over me, me.
And it all breaks down at the first rehearsal,
got the muse in my head she's universal,
spinnin' me round she's coming over me, me

Kind of buzz that lasts for days
had some help from insect ways
comes across all shy and coy
    just another nancy boy.
    Woman man or modern monkey
    just another happy junkie
    fifty pounds, press my button
    going down.

Does his makeup in his room
    douse himself with cheap perfume
    eyeholes in a paper bag
    greatest lay I ever had
kind of guy who mates for life
gotta help him find a wife
we're a couple, when our bodies double.

    lalalala

ye you just walk straight out from the kitchen to the garage, so cool right.
ye good luck to her, she can't even drive, I had to mind the place last time they went on holidays, least I could drive even if I really shouldn't have been.
No dunagrees anymore, not since the 90's :pac:
Can ya imagine with my docs and then that cap!
That is the camera case of whoever is taking the picture!!
Tayto. obviously, was like the tayto man except with farmer coat and hat and pitchfork or something. They were around in the early 80's apparently, so I'm not sure how I still had them at that age, possibly the local pub that sold them had the stock there for years.
    /nostalgia
